Mapping a Network Drive

How do I MAP a Network Drive using Windows XP? Follow these instructions:

- Double Click on the My Network Places icon located on your Desktop.

- From the left select Add a network place.

- A screen will pop up, click Next. Now select Choose another network location, or web address, then click Next. In the Internet or network address field you will have to enter your server name. Yourserver name is, mnsconnect.com or mnsconnect1.com. If you server name is for example mnsconnect.com, you would enter the following in this field:

ftp://ftp.mnsconnect.com

Then click Next.

- Uncheck the box that says Log on anonymously and enter your accounts username in the User name field then click Next.

- Name your newly mapped drive then click Next.

- Click Finish.

You have now successfully mapped a network drive. To access this drive at any time simply open My Network Places and double click on your newly created mapped drive. You may also copy this mapped drive to your computers desktop for easier access.

How do I MAP a Network Drive using Windows Vista? Follow these instructions:

- Go to the Control Panel, double click on the Network and Sharing Center.

- under the Tools tab at the top click on Map Network Drive.

- Select "Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your documents and pictures.

- click next, then "Choose a custom network location." then Next.

- in the space put ftp://ftp.mnsconnect.com, then next and next again.

- name the connection, click next, then click finish.
